Baloch also raised serious concerns about the presence of terrorist groups in Afghanistan, noting that external support for these groups poses significant challenges to regional stability. She called for increased vigilance and collaborative efforts to combat terrorism.

In response to recent developments, Baloch referred to a letter from a British Member of Parliament to the British Foreign Secretary regarding political and personal freedoms in Pakistan. She clarified that this letter, which circulated on social media, was not officially shared with the Pakistani government and remains an internal matter of the British Parliament.

The spokesperson denied reports suggesting that the appointment of a special representative on Afghanistan was under consideration. She noted that the Chinese and Russian Special Representatives for Afghanistan recently visited Pakistan and held discussions with Additional Secretary for West Asia, Ahmed Naseem Warraich.

Furthermore, Baloch reaffirmed Pakistan's close ties with the United States on security matters, stating that discussions are ongoing regarding the risks posed by ballistic missiles potentially falling into the hands of terrorist groups. The Foreign Office continues to advocate for collaborative efforts to enhance regional security and address pressing concerns.
