The spokesperson denied reports suggesting that the appointment of a special representative on Afghanistan was under consideration. She noted that the Chinese and Russian Special Representatives for Afghanistan recently visited Pakistan and held discussions with Additional Secretary for West Asia, Ahmed Naseem Warraich.

Furthermore, Baloch reaffirmed Pakistan's close ties with the United States on security matters, stating that discussions are ongoing regarding the risks posed by ballistic missiles potentially falling into the hands of terrorist groups.
